Our literary fascination with Shakespeare has had many lives, and it seems that fascination has now shifted from whether Shakespeare existed at all to his writerly DNA on works attributed to other writers.
Here’s a fascination examination by University of Texas professor Douglas Bruster of some 325 lines from Thomas Kyd’s “A Spanish Tragedy” that lend support to Shakespeare’s having written these lines.
