The Minor Leagues of Books


If you’re a serious reader – meaning you read a lot and seek out new books to conquer – you’re no doubt coming across more and more self published books. There are good aspects to this freedom for the writer – and often for the reader. Call these books the minor leagues. That’s no aspersion – it’s just a method to develop writerly chops.

But there are lessons the budding writer must learn – and the reader must contend with. This article says a lot in that direction.
